Kogi State Governor Directs All Educational Institutions to Reopen

Kogi State government has announced resumption of all educational institutions in the state

The Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Mr. Wemi Jones said the governor of the state directed the reopening of the schools on September 14, 2020.

Excerpt of the statement reads:

“Therefore, upon further review having had several meetings with relevant stakeholders, His Excellency has directed that all schools in Kogi State should fully reopen on September 14, 2020,”

Kogi State joins Lagos and Osun States that have announced resumptions of all academic institutions this month of September. It is the first Northern state to take the decision.
