AMERICA GOT TALENT 2017 FINALIST 2017 – INSPIRATION OF THE YEAR 2017

COMMENTARY LIFESTYLE SHOW BIZ TALES OF LIFE 118

She is Kechi Okwuchi, one of only 2 survivors of the 2005 Sosoliso Flight 1145 crash that killed 60 of her school mates from Loyola Jesuit College Abuja and Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in at the Port Harcourt International Airport. I can still remember vividly. I was back to PH from my NYSC and the memories weren’t good at all. I could remember a parent, a medical doctor who lost 2 of his children; a boy and a girl say ” when i saw the other kids at the hospital, i prayed to God that my kids were not alive”. Was he being a bad father? Not at all! Those kids apart from Kechi and one other we don’t know of yet, didn’t make it at the end.

They were burnt, terribly burnt and worst than ashes. As a medical doctor he presumed, should they survive, they would be walking dead and eventually dead so he prayed they were sleeping peacefully in the lord.

Today Kechi despite the travails with over 50 surgeries in the U.S and a loving mother by her side, took to the stage at the concluded American Got Talent 2017 and inspired a generation of global audience, young, old, male and female.

Kechi Okwuchi who is currently running an Masters degree in the same University she graduated will be performing in the finals come Tuesday September 19th and it is my hope she wins the competition and inspire billions more.

Kechi is an outstanding inspiration of 2017 and it is hoped Nigerians can take from this and believe in the country that no matter the damage, no matter the crisis, no matter what we have all faced as individuals and as a nation, we can pick up our God given strength and come out great inspiring other nations.

Never learn to give up. Fight Fight Fight and keep fighting to survive.
